Haha, thanks for that! Great explanation. :)
Shortly after I posted that, I went and did a little research (I heart Wikipedia), but your "novel" as you called it was just as good or better of a description than anything else I read on the subject.
:D

well It may just be me, but I've found that firefox works better for watching videos and stuff. But i usually use IE because I'm lazy and its closer on my desktop, plus its out of habit. lol. IE works ok for me too.

If I'm not mistaken, here's how it is:
Cardcaptor Sakura is the japanese version.
Cardcaptors is the english version, that was dubbed by 4kids. Cardcaptors is a nice bit different from cardcaptor sakura in alot of ways. The cards and everything are pretty much the same (minus the fact that in CCS the cards sakura changes to her own are called sakura cards, whereas in the english version, they are called star cards.) But the relationships between characters and all that stuff is either edited or cut out all together from the english version. for instance, the relationship between syaoron li and sakura. It is edited alot in the english version. that's only one of many things changed, that I've noticed from watching both and comparing. Keeping in mind that because the english version is dubbed by '4kids', it is bound to be edited so that there is nothing...'inappropriate' for younger viewers in it. Which is why I watch the japanese version. I like it better to see the original, and see the storylines between characters and everything, without them being cut out. :). There have been episodes where I've watched the japanese version and then afterwards watched the english version, and some are totally different. but anyway, there's my novel XD.

I was just wondering, is there any difference betweem Cardcaptors and Cardcaptor Sakura, or are they one and the same? :)

 Internet Explorer vs. Firefox
« Result #6 on Mar 14, 2008, 7:56pm »

Any opinions as to which browser is better between Internet Explorer and Firefox, especially when watching anime and reading manga? Is there one particular browser that's better/faster? :) I'm thinking of downloading Firefox but some other opinions would be great. Thanks!

Looking for a good place to read manga?

Try this site. In my experience it's the best place for up-to-date manga chapters for Inuyasha, at the very least. They update it weekly with the very latest chapters, keeping it as current as possible, which is good for those of us who are slightly obsessed - in a good way, of course! ;)

 RULES.
« Result #8 on Feb 23, 2008, 1:09pm »

Ok, so Obviously there are a few forum rules. Follow them, and I'll be happy:). Don't follow them, and I won't be. In which case you will be banned from the forum, or depending on the circumstances, given a warning.

Rule #1. absolutely NO porn, hentai, or anything of the sort. That includes pictures, links, etc.

Rule #2. Watch your language. There may be kids on the forum, and there's no need for them to be exposed to vulgar language and swearing. That, and I just don't want it. Also, don't put others down or make fun of them. Cyber bullying bothers me.

Rule #3. This is friendly discussion forum. No need for fighting. Debates are fine. Also, no pushing your opinion down other people's throats. They are entitled to their own views, just the same as you are.

Rule #4. No cybering! Pretty much self-explanatory, but as i said in rule #2, there may be kids on here. Also, I'd rather keep my lunch in my stomach. thank you.

Rule #5. Respect the Administrator and Moderators.

:). And there you have it. Not too much to ask. Just follow the rules, and enjoy the forum:).
